Chiltern Tunnels GRP Handrail Installation

Jones Site Services & Installations have recently been on site at the Chiltern Tunnels carrying out the installation of hundreds of metres of GRP handrailing as part of the HS2 infrastructure works.

The GRP handrailing system has been designed to provide a safe barrier between pedestrian walkways and the future high-speed railway line, helping to ensure safety for personnel working in the area.

The quality of the GRP kit supplied has been excellent, making the installation process efficient while delivering a strong and durable system. Our team followed strict installation guidance to ensure full compliance with HS2 requirements.

This project demonstrates the high standards the team delivers on site, from product quality through to final installation.

Jones Site Services will be returning to the Chiltern Tunnels in the coming weeks to complete additional sections of handrailing before hopefully progressing to works at the North Portal.
