Project Completion at Ardessie, Scotland – Precision Installation at a Remote Salmon Farm

Project Description

We’re pleased to announce the successful completion of another standout project — this time in the scenic and remote location of Ardessie, on the rugged west coast of Scotland, where our team has spent the last three weeks upgrading infrastructure at a salmon farming facility.

This project involved the installation of brand-new GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) access platforms and staircases, all expertly designed and manufactured by our long-standing client, Waux. From the moment these components arrived on-site, it was clear we were working with some of the finest examples of GRP fabrication we’ve encountered. The structural quality, durability, and finish of these platforms made the install a real pleasure — and the end result speaks for itself.

Despite the remote location and all the logistical challenges that come with it, the team delivered exceptional work. From handling deliveries on tight rural roads to managing installation across uneven terrain in changeable Scottish weather, the lads rose to every challenge with the same level of professionalism, skill, and pride we’re known for.

The platforms and staircases are now fully installed, providing safe, durable access throughout the farm site. Not only do they improve functionality and safety for on-site teams, but they also help future-proof the site for years to come.

With our works now complete and the installation successfully handed over, the client can progress into the next phase of development — taking them one step closer to resuming full operations and focusing on what they do best: sustainable salmon farming.

A huge well done to our team on the ground for another high-quality installation in a challenging environment. This job reflects the values and capabilities we bring to every project — no matter how remote the location.
