Jones Site Services & Installations recently completed the installation of a 3-way valve chamber at a site in Snarestone, delivering a durable, corrosion-resistant solution designed for long-term performance in a chemical environment.

Project Overview

The project involved installing a 3-way valve to allow the controlled draining of a chemical bund and to support safe and efficient filling processes. Due to the potential for regular exposure to corrosive chemicals, material selection and installation quality were critical to the success of the project.

Scope of Works

• Supply and installation of 3-way valve system
• Installation of GRP support beams
• Supply and installation of GRP flooring

The Solution

To ensure long-term durability and resistance to chemical corrosion, Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) beams and flooring were installed within the chamber. GRP provides excellent chemical resistance, structural strength, and low maintenance requirements, making it ideal for harsh industrial environments.
