Road Cover Replacement Project – Oxford

One of our experienced teams was on site in Oxford this week carrying out a road cover replacement after the existing cover became damaged and unsafe for vehicle traffic.

The deteriorated cover no longer provided adequate protection, presenting a potential risk to road users and the essential pipework and valves located below. Following a detailed site assessment, our team mobilised efficiently, established a safe working area, and removed the damaged cover.

A new security road cover was installed to restore safety and prevent unauthorised access to the utility infrastructure beneath. All works were completed with minimal disruption while maintaining strict health and safety standards.

As with every project delivered by Jones Site Services & Installations, quality was paramount. Even the benching below the cover — although never visible once the works were complete — was finished to the highest possible standard.

To ensure durability and long-term performance, all materials used were HEPAS approved, providing confidence in the longevity and reliability of the newly installed road cover.
