Project Description
At Jones Site Services & Installations, we recently had the opportunity to return to Esholt WTW, a key Yorkshire Water site, for a critical update to their system. Our task was to replace an old flow meter that had been instrumental in the site's operations for the last decade. This equipment is essential for monitoring the volume of water flowing through the system at any given time, helping to ensure that the site can meet water demand efficiently.
Why Replace the Flow Meter?
Flow meters are vital for operational efficiency at water treatment sites. They provide precise data that helps manage and distribute water based on current demand. The old flow meter at Esholt WTW had reached the end of its useful life after a decade of reliable service. Replacing it was crucial not only for maintaining operational standards but also for enhancing the site’s ability to monitor and respond to demand fluctuations.
Our Qualified Team
The replacement project was carried out by our team of fully qualified professionals, who are equipped with all necessary certifications for such tasks. At Jones Site Services & Installations, we ensure that our team members are not only trained to the highest standards but are also regularly updated with new skills and techniques. This practice is part of our commitment to delivering quality work safely and consistently, preventing skill degradation over time.
The Installation Process
The process involved removing the decade-old meter and installing a new, more advanced flow meter. This upgrade promises improved accuracy and reliability in measuring water flow, which is integral to the efficient management of the site’s resources.
Looking Forward
Projects like these are a testament to our commitment to quality and safety in all our installations. We take pride in the professionalism of our team and our ability to handle the specific needs of major utility providers, such as Yorkshire Water.
This installation not only helps Esholt WTW continue to operate effectively but also ensures they can do so with greater precision and reliability. We look forward to continuing our work with De-Nora & JN Bentley and Yorkshire Water, helping to maintain and enhance vital water treatment infrastructure across the region.
