Project Description
We’re excited to announce the start of another fantastic project for one of our valued clients, Lagan MEICA, as part of their ongoing work with Severn Trent Water. This week, our team at Jones Site Services & Installations has mobilized to Wheaton Aston, where we’re delivering critical groundwork and installation services for the construction of two new stormwater tanks.
The project kicked off on Monday, and our crews hit the ground running. We’ve already begun filling the access road and the tank pads, laying the essential groundwork to support the new infrastructure. These bases will form the foundation for the extra capacity storm tanks, which are designed to improve local water management and reduce the risk of flooding during heavy rainfall.
This project highlights the collaborative approach we’re proud to maintain with Lagan MEICA, working seamlessly to meet the high standards and strict timelines required in the water industry. Our scope includes preparing robust, precision-engineered concrete bases capable of supporting the large storm tanks while ensuring compliance with all environmental and safety regulations.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll continue with reinforcement, shuttering, and concrete pours, moving towards the successful completion of these key structures. The Wheaton Aston project is another example of how Jones Site Services & Installations brings expertise, dedication, and quality workmanship to every job—no matter the scale or complexity.
We’re proud to contribute to improving the region’s wastewater infrastructure and to support Severn Trent Water’s ongoing investment in sustainable water solutions. Stay tuned for further updates as we progress through this exciting project!
