Project Description
We’re excited to share a progress update from one of our ongoing projects in Wheaton Aston, where the first of several storm tank bases has now been successfully installed.
Storm tanks play a vital role in managing excess water during periods of heavy rainfall. Designed to temporarily store stormwater, these tanks help prevent overloading of the main drainage systems and reduce the risk of localised flooding. Once the rainfall subsides, the stored water is gradually released or treated, depending on the system design. It’s a critical piece of infrastructure for sustainable and resilient water management — especially important in areas prone to intense weather events.
Our team has completed the groundwork and installed the first reinforced concrete base, forming the solid foundation on which the tank structure will be built. Precision and durability are key at this stage to ensure long-term performance and safety.
Once the storm tank itself is constructed, we’ll return to the site to complete the reinstatement works — restoring the surrounding area and ensuring everything is left clean, tidy, and in line with our high standards.
Well done to everyone involved so far, and we look forward to seeing the next stages of this project take shape. Keep an eye on our blog for further updates.
