The Challenge

We were approached late on a Friday by North Field Fusion Group with a time-sensitive task: to break out and extend a freezer within an active Tesco store. The key challenge? The store needed to remain fully operational, with no disruption to customers.

Our Response

We mobilised quickly, starting on site the following Tuesday — just three working days after the initial enquiry. With customer experience a top priority, our team worked through the night to carry out the breaking out and cutting works. By operating during off-peak hours, we ensured Tesco’s daily operations could continue without interruption.

Getting the Job Done

Once the preparation works were complete, we transitioned to daytime operations to pour the new concrete. The entire job, from first contact to final pour, was completed in under a week — with handover the following Monday.
