Progress Update: Thames Water Civil, Mechanical & Electrical Project
At Jones Site Services & Installations, we are proud to be delivering a Civil, Mechanical and Electrical project directly for Thames Water.
Over the past six weeks, our team has been working diligently on-site, with the civil and mechanical elements of the project now approaching completion. The final stages currently include lagging and trace heating installation, while the electrical phase of the project is scheduled to commence in the coming weeks.
A key challenge during the works was the requirement to safely remove an operational sludge tank from service to allow essential maintenance and upgrade works to be carried out. To ensure uninterrupted site operations, Jones Site Services supplied and installed two temporary sludge holding tanks, complete with associated pumps and pipework.
This temporary solution enabled the safe isolation of the existing tank while maintaining operational continuity throughout the project. By carefully planning and executing the temporary works, our team ensured that Thames Water's operations could continue while the upgrade works progressed safely and efficiently.
The team's expertise in delivering turnkey civil, mechanical and electrical solutions has ensured that work has progressed safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to the client's operations.
We are extremely pleased with the progress made so far and would like to thank everyone involved for their continued hard work, professionalism and commitment on site.
